I bought this item because I own the older model. The screen on this one is smaller and they both suffer from low sound volume.

I could not be happier with this little TV/DVD Combo unit. I plugged it into the cable w/o a set top box and picked up 50 more channels than the old 19" crt set it replaced. I get a wonderful picture on both SD and HD channels. Dispite reviews to the contrary, the sound quality and volume level seems perfectly adequate for a small 11 by 10 foot bedroom. I highly recommend this set for use in simular settings.

We bought this TV for its great price. It was defective and we went through a hassle trying to get it fixed. In the end, we had to pay to sent it back Toshiba at our cost. We chose to but this product from Best Buy and a slightly higher price but it comes with a guarantee. We will not buy televisions from Amazon in the future. It is a big headache if it does not work.

I bought this for ease in use - I actually don't watch TV and don't have a hook up to cable or local channels, but I wanted something that combined a larger screen than my computer's plus a DVD player (to save my computer drive). This little guy had both (I bought the 19" version). I do love it. The picture quality is decent - nothing to write home about. It's adequate for my needs and pocketbook. The sound is good, but the maximum sound is not terribly loud. That is a good thing too, unless you have the TV many feet away from you. I don't, so it serves me perfectly. I'd say it's ideal for small spaces like a college dorm, an RV, or just a very small apartment.

Recieved in a timely manner when ordered. Carton it came in looked a little ragged but all worked well with the set when operated. Was given as a Christmas gift and the installation was easy. The TV is used in a bedroom so the lack of high volume sound doesn't make a difference. This is the second set of this model we have and there has not been any problems so far.
